Lia Kim Farnsworth is a visual artist. Her work speaks to the ways we deal with the complicated notion of the end, using climate change as a metaphor for the ambiguous, impending end to what we understand as nature. She creates fictional future worlds that oscillate between real and imagined spaces through installation, video, photography, and performance.
Farnsworth was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and was raised there as well as Seoul, South Korea. She has shown her work nationally and internationally. She received an MFA in New Forms from Pratt Institute in 2017. Farnsworth lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
